Patsy had never seen us before, except in a dream. In her dream she saw our banner with the word “HEALING” on it; she saw the chairs and a team member with short, dark hair.
The first person she saw as she came towards us was the team member with short dark hair in her dream.
Patsy was a burdened woman. Her husband was ill, and she was grieving for her mother who she had nursed until she died.
Her mother had a condition which caused nerve endings in her leg to die. This meant she had loss of feeling in them. A cut on her foot went unnoticed and became gangrenous. Eventually she had to have the leg amputated.
Patsy had been to the hospital for tests because her left leg had become numb and painful from the knee down. She was afraid she had the same condition as her mother. The doctors confirmed her worse fears.
Patsy came and sat on a chair, and the team encompassed her with God’s love.
Patsy was overcome with the awareness of God’s presence. She began to tremble, and tears flowed as she felt warmth go through her legs. The pain and numbness disappeared.
Patsy returned a few weeks later to tell us this story.
She had gone to the hospital for a check up and saw the original consultant who had diagnosed her condition.
Patsy told him, “I no longer have that condition, I was prayed for and God healed me". The consultant said, “That’s not possible, the condition you have is incurable.”
Patsy said, “I know I'm healed because I have feeling back in my legs and I have no pain!” The consultant again said, “that's not possible, you wouldn’t be seeing me if you hadn't got this problem.”
Patsy was insistent so he agreed to test her again. The results came back showing no trace of this condition, and he had to admit she had been healed. He kept saying to her, “now tell me again about this prayer, tell me again?”
