Having been on the "Healing On The Streets Team" since the outset, I have seen God move in a powerful way, in my life, and in the lives of those I have been privileged to pray with.
The first day was one of mixed emotions. I was looking forward to doing God's work, yet having lived in Coleraine all my life I wasn't sure how my friends, work colleagues etc, would react. I found the experience challenging at the start, but now I can't wait for Saturday to come, so that I can get “out there” and pray with people.
When you see miracles taking place in front of your eyes, you want to jump up and down and tell everyone. To see legs growing, twisted fingers being straightened, fibromyalgia disappearing, being told of cancerous growths vanishing from scans and x-rays, and doctors left scratching their heads, you know that God is merciful.
I believe what we have experienced so far in Coleraine is only the start of much more. We are waiting expectantly for an even greater move of God.
I work in a local school, and now pray regularly with both staff and pupils for healing, and have seen wonderful things happen.
On Saturday afternoon whilst walking with my husband in a local forest we met a lady who was suffering with back pain. We started to talk to her and had the opportunity to pray with her there in the middle of the forest.
I personally have developed a deep sense of compassion for people who are hurting, and use my God given gifts to speak into their lives, and to pray with them.
I hope that when you read this you will be encouraged to take that step of faith, trusting God for more, and consider praying with others for healing.
