A young married couple came to the healing on the streets, and asked us if we could pray for them together. We drew the chairs together, so we could pray for them.
One of the team noticed from their accents that they weren't local. They said they were from Cavan which is 110 miles away. We asked them if they were on holiday, or just visiting, because it was a long way to travel. They replied, "No, we've come especially for the healing".
When we asked them how they got to hear about the healing on the streets in Coleraine, this is the story they told us.
Their friend came to us for prayer with her husband. She was in a wheelchair, after having become paralyzed from the waist down, when she received an epidural, during pregnancy. There was nothing the doctors could do for her.
After she received healing prayer, her husband drove her back home to Cavan.
About half way home she suddenly said to her husband, "Stop the car, something's happened!" She jumped out of the car and started to run around the car completely healed. It was raining at the time.
After seeing what had happened to our friend, we decided to travel down to you.
