On Friday 19th May, one of the team had a dream; she dreamt that a woman would come for prayer on Saturday from quite a distance away. She saw that this woman had greyish hair and a dark coat.
On arriving for healing on the streets on Saturday, the team member saw the woman sitting on one of the seats being prayed for, and said to her husband, "that’s my lady!"
The woman had come from Cookstown, which is a long distance away. She had a long list of health problems; she’d had a kidney removed, she had angina, diabetes and a pain in her side. She had been on painkillers for years, and couldn’t sleep at night. After we prayed for her she said, "I feel a lot better".
The team member who had the dream about her, came and shared the dream, and how God was excited about what was going to happen in her life.
The woman cried when she understood that God had meant for her to be there that day.
We asked her how she had heard about the healing on the streets in Coleraine. She told us a receptionist from the health centre where she visits, telephoned her, and told her to, "Get yourself down to the Town Hall in Coleraine because God is healing people." The receptionist had got to know this lady because of her frequent visits over the years, and knew there was nothing more the doctors could do for her.
The receptionist began to tell her how she and her family were shopping in Coleraine one Saturday. Her father was suffering with a painful leg condition and needed a walking stick. Even with his prescribed painkillers he was in a lot of pain. He was leaning against a local shop, watching and listening as the healing team ministered. He decided to go forward.
When the family returned home, he left his stick in the car and went straight to the back of the garden. He reappeared with a ladder and climbed up onto the roof to repair it. The family thought he had lost his mind, but he said, "God.s healed me".
He has been free from pain, and hasn't had to take painkillers since.
The receptionist also shared the story of the woman from Cavan who came to us paralysed from the waist down, but was healed in the car as her husband drove her home.
This lady has now come three Saturdays in a row. On her second visit she came back with her husband, and told us, "The pain has gone, I don't have to take painkillers anymore, and I can sleep at night!"
Her husband remarked, "I have a new woman."
She returned for her third visit. She publicly shared her story of how God has healed her. She had been in pain 24/7 and had taken painkillers for years. She is now completely free from all pain.
